Guy Fieri’s real name Guy Ramsay Fieri was born in Columbus, United State of America on 22-01-1968. Hechanged his last name to his family’s real name “Fieri”. He spend his childhood in Ferndale. He is a multitalented man. He grew up as a cookbook author and American restaurateur.  He is also a television presenter who wins awards. He is a game show host. He is a owner of three restaurants in California. In New York and Las Vegas, Nevadahe licenses his name to restaurants. At the age of 10, Fieri with his father, Jim Fieri, started a pretzel cart business. He earned enough from this to fulfills his future needs. At the of 16, Fieri studied for one year in France. There he took interest in cooking and food. After coming back from France, he started working in restaurant at the Red Lion Inn, California. During his studies at the University of Nevada, Las  Vegas, he served in many restaurants. He completed his degree in Hospitality Management in 1990. After the degree, he started working in Stouffer’s restaurant. After spending some years in California, he became the district manager of Louise’s trattoria.

Guy’s sister:

Guy had a sister Morgan Fieri. She was a therapist, dancer, and philanthropist. She had a son Jules. Morgan had skin cancer from her childhood. At age of 39, she was suffering from severe health conditions. Morgan and Guy started a foundation named “ The Guy Foundation for Inspiration and Imagination”. She died in 2011. After her death Guy and Lori took her son Jule. Morgan was a lesbian. After her death, in her honor Guy announced officially the wedding of 101 gay couples.

Guy’s married life:

In 1992 Guy met with Lori in California, Long Beach, where he was running his restaurant. Lori was famous for wearing colorful hats. He said he won her heart by his cooking. He said when he first time cooked for her she said: “you made all this?”. We both loved cooking and food. Lori and Guy married after three years of their relationship. Lori gave birth to a baby boy in 1996, a son named Hunter. In 1996 the same year of his son’s birth, he opened his first restaurant. After graduation, he traveled to Europe. He records five episodes of his vacations named Guy’s and Hunter European Vacation. He said in an interview in 2018 that he wants to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Restaurants:

Fieri started the business with partner Steve Gruber in 1996, in Santa Rosa, California. They opened Johnny Garlic’s “a California Pasta Grill”. In 1999, they opened a second branch in Windsor. The third branch opened in Petaluma between 2000 and 2001. In 2008, in Roseville, they opened a fourth location. In 2003, they built Tex Wasabis in Santa Rosa. Launched its second branch Sacramento’s in 2007. In 2010, another Johnny Garlic’s launched in Dublin, California. Guy’s American Kitchen and Bar, Fieri’s first New York City restaurant opened in 2012 coverage by Pete Wells a magazine Forbes called it ” most scathing review in the history of New York Times”. Fieri started his partnership with Carnival Cruise in 2011, they opened in Guy’s Burger Joint. In Carnival’s Cruise Ships there were nineteen restaurants with some serving Guy’s Pig and Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse and beer-and-BBQ in 2007. In  2004. In Las Vegas, he opened Guy Fieri’s Vegas Bar and Kitchen. Guy Fieri’s Baltimore Bar and  Kitchen opened in Baltimore’s Horseshoe Casino in 2015. Fieri started a partnership in 2018 with Robert Earl, the Planet Hollywood, to open Chicken Guy!, a fast-food chicken sandwich shop at Walt Disney World.

Television career:

Guy Fieri joined the second season of “The Next Food Network Star”. He won the competition. For promoting his program “Guy’s Big Bite” he signed a deal with Food Network that year as a winner. In 2006, “Guy’s Big Bite” records first and still it continues on Food Network. His other show, “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives” in which he took interviews of local cafes, this show started in 2007. Later he started hosting. First he started hosting with Marc Summers. They hosted the program “Ultimate Recipe Showdown”. They recorded three seasons of this program successfully. His show “Guy off the Hook” started recording from 2008. When TRP program not rating high then the show was pulled off. Guy also appeared as a guest on different series of Food Networking like “The Best Thing I Ever Ate”, “Ace Of Cakes”, “Phineas & Ferb”, and  “Ridiculousness”. Fieri hosted 12 series from 2012-17. Fieri was a producer of “Guy’s Grocery Game”, it’s a competition where 4 chefs prepared dishes. This program had 3 stages. He was also a producer of Guy and Hunter’s European Vacation and super south east. In 2017 he worked in three shows “Guy’s Family Road Trip”, “Super South Eats”, and “On Your Marc”.

Books:

Guy Fieri with Ann Volkwein wrote four books. These books are included in the “New York Times Bestseller List”.
